Mohbad autopsy will take months before it’s made public
Ilerioluwa “Mohbad” Aloba’s autopsy would not be made public right away, his management announced on Instagram on Monday, January 15, 2023.
They claim that the autopsy, which has already been completed, will be conducted overseas first and that it will take several months before the results—which are eagerly awaited by the singer’s followers and the Nigerian public at large—are made public.
“In order to prevent misunderstandings and miscommunications, we would like to use this opportunity to share a few updates and draw attention to some facts…According to a statement from his management, “the police authorities have carried out an investigation and have communicated that the autopsy results from the sample sent abroad will take a few months before they are shared.”

A report claiming that the late singer had drafted his last will and testament was refuted by the management, who emphasized that if such documents had existed, they would have been filed with the probate registry.
“No one in Mohbad’s administration or his attorney has informed the public or any family members of the existence of a will or any other thumbprinted documents—as has been falsely stated recently. As a result, we humbly ask that people not spread misinformation such as this,” the post said in part.
The death of Mohbad on September 12, 2023, dealt a severe blow to the Nigerian entertainment industry. There was a national call for an inquiry into his death due to the peculiar circumstances surrounding it.
An autopsy was performed during the investigations, and the police stated that it was completed. Nevertheless, the results were never disclosed, even after a few months.
