Manchester United announce loan departure of Hannibal Mejbri
Young midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has officially joined La Liga team Sevilla on loan for the balance of the season, according to Manchester United. Before deciding to transfer to Spain, Hannibal had interest from Premier League team Everton after electing to forego playing for Tunisia in the Africa Cup of Nations.
According to BBC Sport, the loan agreement has a permanent relocation option. Its estimated worth is £17.2 million. In all competitions this season, Hannibal has made 10 appearances for Manchester United; his most recent appearance was in their 2-0 FA Cup third-round victory over Wigan Athletic.
